PureVN organized Orientation sessions for the participants joining the Transitional Homes this year.
We welcomed all the new members to the PureVN family as each student confidently introduced themselves. They all expressed mutual feelings about leaving the orphanage and excitement for the journey ahead.
Our enrollment program typically takes place in August and September every year. During this period, PureVN directly contacts social welfare centers across the country, from North to South, to determine if any of their students aging out of the orphanage would be suitable for our program. Before joining the Transitional Home, the youth do undergo an application process which consist of thorough interviews. Each one brings with them a unique story and circumstance. What we look forward to most is observing the giftedness of each student, what motivates them, and their desired goals. Upon acceptance to the program, we get to help them navigate a path to success to meet those goals.
During orientation, we also shared the story of PureVN, about the vision that drives the project. We introduced the students to their privileges, their responsibilities as well as the policy and procedures within the Transitional Home. We also facilitated group discussions for the families so that they could get to know each other and to help foster a sense of connectedness among the house parents and students.
Join PureVN to create new steps in the journey of these determined students as they embark on new challenges and opportunities ahead. We believe that each child helped today will build a wonderful family in the future as they integrate and engage in society.
